Field Supervisor - Residential & Commercial Plumbing

Pay Range: $80,000-$120,000 DOE

Job Summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Field Supervisor to oversee and support residential and commercial plumbing operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to manage multiple job sites while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The Field Supervisor will lead field technicians, coordinate workflows, ensure compliance with codes and company standards, and act as a key liaison between crews, management, and clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support plumbing crews working on residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinate daily job assignments, schedules, and staffing across multiple sites
  • Perform job site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and code compliance
  • Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance in the field
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to company standards
  • Enforce safety policies, OSHA standards, and best practices
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate plumbing technicians and apprentices
  • Review work orders, material usage, and project documentation
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Assist with estimating, change orders, and project planning as needed

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in both residential and commercial environments
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Strong working knowledge of local and state plumbing codes
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in the field and being on call as needed

Preferred Skills

  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Familiarity with scheduling or field management software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
